Summer has 20+ years of experience working to build strong, resilient Native Hawaiian children, families, and communities. She has been blessed to serve the legacies of Prince Kūhio, Queen Emma, Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop, and Queen Liliʻuokalani. Serving our aliʻi across the paeʻāina has shown her that communities depend on all of us following the lead of Hawaiʻiʻs aliʻi and becoming investors in the future in big and small ways. Summer owns the social enterprise Moʻo Strategies, a consulting business focused on creating systemic change so that Hawaiʻi becomes a beacon of hope for the world. Summer resides in Kāneʻohe in a four-generation household.
